Craster Flow Hot Unit Troubleshooting Guide – UK/EU 230v Unit

Step 1. Is the unit plugged in and switched on?

Please ensure the unit is plugged in at the power source, switched on at the power source and the power lead or daisy chain lead is fully inserted into the correct port on the flow hot unit.

If the unit is powered using the daisy chain method and this is causing problems, please plug the unit directly into the power source to see if there is a fault with the daisy chain cable.

If the unit is not working when plugged directly into the power source, and you have a spare mains power cable, please try the unit with the spare cable to see if there is a fault with the mains power cable.

Step 2. Is the controller display illuminated?

If the unit is plugged in, switched on, and the plug is fully inserted into the flow hot unit and the controller display is not illuminated, please contact your customer service representative.

If the controller display is illuminated, please move on to the next step

Step 3. Is the set temperature higher than the ambient temperature?

If you hold down the set button on the controller, this will show you the set temperature of the unit. If this set temperature is lower than the current ambient temperature, then the unit will not start to heat up.

The maximum set point on the UK & EU Flow Hot Unit is + 140oC

Step 4. Does the red light on the controller show as per below?

When the unit is turned on, does the red light on the display illuminate? This red light indicates the relay on the controller is sending power to the heating element.

If this light is not showing, please contact your customer service representative
